Imagining Better Healthcare Ecosystems

The demands of an ageing population, a changing workforce and new technologies will shape the future of healthcare ecosystems. New models of healthcare delivery and changing users' needs will fundamentally change healthcare systems and infrastructure – from the hospital to the home.

Sustainability, smart technology and digital services will be fundamental to this transformation, reshaping the delivery and access of healthcare services of the future. Flexible and adaptable healthcare facilities and systems are needed to ensure resilience against these changing requirements.

Please join us in our next event where we will examine the major trends shaping the future of our healthcare ecosystems and discuss what needs to be done to achieve a future healthcare system that works for us all –  investors, developers, owners and end-users.

This educational event will include:

  • Two presentations delivered by Bree Trevena (from Arup Foresight) and Malcolm Smith (Australasian Cities Leader, Arup), including a summary of Arup’s recentlreleased Future of Healthcare Ecosystems report (We recommend that you have a look at this The Future of Healthcare Ecosystem report prior to the event).
  • Case studies working with the Wellcome Trust in the UK.
  • An interactive panel discussion facilitated by Julian Soper (Australasia Health Leader, Arup) where you will be encouraged to ask questions live and share your views about the subject.

With the aim of making our events more interactive, the presentation will be followed by a panel discussion where you will be encouraged to ask questions live and share your views about the subject.
